The Milesight WS-202 is a LoRaWAN® enabled PIR (motion/occupancy) and brightness sensor designed for smart indoor monitoring and automation. It combines precise passive infrared detection with a built-in light sensor to determine both human presence and ambient light levels, enabling intelligent control of lighting and other systems making it suitable for offices, classrooms, retail spaces, warehouses, and smart building deployments. The PIR sensor detects motion up to approximately 8 meters within a wide field of view, while the light sensor measures brightness and classifies spaces as bright or dark based on configurable thresholds. With NFC-based configuration and battery-powered operation optimized for long life, the WS-202 supports automation scenarios such as automatic lighting control and occupancy-based alerts.
